MY CRAFTS UTOPIA : WHAT STAND FOR BEYOND YOUR PURCHASE

by Montserrat Alvarez
HEIMAT ATLANTICA
is not just about creating a label, it is a project related with BEING AN ENTREPRENEUR, understanding that SOCIAL RESPONSABILITY AND ENTREPRENEURIAL INITIATIVE are intrinsically related.

From my point of view, Fashion must have a social & cultural responsibility so this project was born with the aim to PROTECT AND VALORIZE the craftsmanships from the Atlantic coast, working in a direct and in the closest way with the artisans in order to create a real value for them.

I always have believed in the importance of CREATING A MARKET, selling and buying is of first necessity in order to preserve the crafts themselves. Simultaneously to establishing this commercial exchange, we need to ENHANCE AND COMUNICATE ON THE VALUE OF THE CRAFTS and help the craftsman/women to CREATE A SYSTEM, not only for their business but also for the evolution of their techniques.
